After an early morning pickup from Cusco and a scenic train ride through the Sacred Valley,
arrive at Km 104 where your Inca Trail adventure begins. Cross the suspension bridge over the Urubamba River
and start your trek into the cloud forest.
Visit this small but significant archaeological site that served as a checkpoint
and ceremonial center at the entrance of the Inca Trail. Learn about its importance
in controlling access to Machu Picchu.
Hike through one of the world’s most biodiverse ecosystems. The trail winds through
lush cloud forest filled with exotic orchids, hummingbirds, butterflies, and
stunning mountain views. Approximately 3-4 hours of moderate hiking.
Arrive at this spectacular Inca citadel, one of the best-preserved sites on the trail.
Marvel at the impressive agricultural terraces, ceremonial baths, and stone buildings
cascading down the mountainside. Enjoy your packed lunch here with amazing views.
THE ICONIC MOMENT! Reach the legendary Sun Gate and experience your first

After descending to Machu Picchu for photos at the classic viewpoint, take the
25-minute bus ride down to Machu Picchu Town. Check into your comfortable 3-star hotel,
relax, and enjoy a well-deserved dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay included.
Wake up early (optional) and catch the first bus to witness the magical sunrise
over Machu Picchu. Watch as the morning mist clears and the ancient citadel is
bathed in golden light – a truly unforgettable experience.
Enjoy a comprehensive 2-hour guided tour of the citadel with your expert guide.
Visit all main sectors: Temple of the Sun, Intihuatana sundial, Temple of the Three Windows,
Royal Palace, and the agricultural terraces. Learn the secrets and history of the Lost City.
After the guided tour, enjoy free time to explore independently, take more photos,

Descend to Aguas Calientes for brunch (on your own), then board the scenic train
back to Ollantaytambo. A private vehicle will be waiting to transfer you back to
