Sacred Valley & Machu Picchu (2 Days)

DAY 1: Sacred Valley Wonders & the Journey to Machu Picchu Pueblo

We’ll begin our tour from the city of Cusco at 6:30 a.m very early to avoid large crowds at the sites we’ll visit. We’ll drive northeast to our first stop, the town of Chinchero, where we’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a lovely encounter with local families, who will give us a demonstration of weaving and dyeing with alpaca fiber and sheep’s wool. We’ll also appreciate the importance and authenticity of these traditions. Next, we’ll continue to the Maras-Moray archaeological site, known along the circuit for its circular agricultural terraces, according to many scholars, it’s also referred to as an Inca greenhouse or agricultural research center we’ll learn a bit about that.

And then will continue our journey to the Maras salt flats. Here we’ll appreciate the remarkable work of the local people as they continue to extract and harvest salt using traditional methods a process that is used in many products. There are over 4,000 evaporation pits, offering stunning views that blend harmoniously with the Sacred Valley. We’ll then continue to the town of Urubamba, where we’ll stop to choose a restaurant for buffet lunch, and then proceed to our final destination, Ollantaytambo, where we’ll have time to explore the ancient and bustling Inca village alongside the massive Inca ruins, with a guided tour provided by our guide.

Then, at 3:07 p.m., we’ll take the train, along the route, we’ll enjoy unforgettable views of the Sacred Valley and witness the changing landscape, with its diverse flora and fauna, until we reach the town of Aguas Calientes.and will arrive 5.30 p.m aprox, where we’ll spend at the hotel.

DAY 2: Machupichu – Cusco

Today is the most important day. We’ll have breakfast at the hotel, then head to the bus station according to the scheduled departure time, followed by a 30-minute ride to the Machu Picchu Archaeological Park. We’ll enter through the security gate according to our tour itinerary. Finally, we’ll take a tour with our official tour guide for approximately 2 hours, visiting all the iconic sites included in the itinerary within the marvel that is Machu Picchu.

Finally, with our expectations fully met, we’ll return to the town of Aguas Calientes for lunch, then take the 2:55 p.m. train to the Ollantaytambo train station, where you’ll board our private transportation for the return trip to Cusco, and we’ll drop you off at your hotel.
