An experience of living in the salt mines of Maras and Moray, this half day tour gives us the opportunity to know ancestral textiles with all the Andean technique to obtain the fabrics and 2 very important places like the circular terraces of Moray and the natural salt mines of Maras. We pick you up from the hotel at 9:00 am, heading northeast arriving initially to the village of chinchero located at 3800 m.a.s.l. where we will visit a handicraft place where we will have the opportunity to share with some families and observe the process of dyeing, weaving and much more of textiles with ancestral techniques with vicuña alpaca wool, and then we will continue to our next point which will be the impressive agricultural laboratory of Moray which is already near the sacred valley, where we will make a tour to know the importance and function that was in the time of the Incas and then we will go to the last place which is the salt mines of Maras and have that view of more than 3000 salt ponds and know the process of obtaining salt with ancestral techniques and know the types of salt that is obtained. Finally, we will return to Cusco approximately 2:00 pm approximately.
